"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

I dislike clear blue sky's, I'd rather have cloudy days of drama for my lens. I like it when it rains in the fall and brings out the color of the leaves, trees and landscape. I find the colors most saturated and pleasing to me. And I like the winter time also, when everything seems fresh and renewed. White snow against anything makes for great contrasting shots. And the cold, clear nights are great for starry night photography.
I dabbled with photography off and on for the last 15 years but never really took it seriously until 3 years ago when my wife got me my first DSLR for my birthday and I have been hooked ever since.
I like all kinds of photography from Landscape to Night photography, experimental to nudes. I personally don't shoot nude photography or photographs of people in general. I'm more of an admirer in those genres as long as composition is there and some kind of message or emotion is conveyed. Basically the same standards as for any other images I like.
My current activities involve Night photography, Night HDRI photography, HDRI in general, Black and white photography, Experimental photography, Light painting and recently Astrophotography landscape. The other half is mostly post processing techniques with photoshop, photomatix, lightroom, and deep sky stacker.
For 2013 I have some camping trips slated for some HDRI photography and astro landscape. And of course the experimental side is always ongoing. Always fun to try something new with a concept or idea and the camera.
